3 Roads was just informed that it has received a Production Tax Credit from the Maryland Department of Commerce for our new documentary, The House on Jonathan Street. The documentary traces the history of the historically African-American Jonathan Street Community in Hagerstown, MD, using the almost demolition of an historic, tiny log cabin as the documentary’s starting point. The Community Foundation of Washington County has also agreed to be our fiscal agent for the documentary, which will be distributed to Public TV stations nationwide for Black History Month, 2023.
3 Roads’ Prez Russ Hodge hosted social commentator Fran Leibowitz as part of the Frederick Speakers Series in February. The duo traded bon mots as the Pretend It’s a City star opined on everything from NY tourists to the current political situation.
