While 2023 has seen 3 Roads produce our usual slate of videos for companies, nonprofits and the government, our main focus has been the production and distribution of two distinct television programs that demonstrate our wide range of projects.
JOURNEY TO HIGHCLERE CASTLE WITH THE SICILIAN TENORS FEATURING LADY CARNARVON
Our first program, to be distributed nationally in August first on Public Television, is a sixty minute program that we recorded in March at Highclere Castle, the home of Downton Abbey. A Journey to Highclere Castle With The Sicilian Tenors Featuring Lady Carnarvon combines songs of the era with the stunning visuals of the castle to provide viewers with a truly memorable experience. THE HOUSE ON JONATHAN STREET
The House on Jonathan Street is a sixty minute documentary that has received approval for national distribution on Public TV for Black History Month, 2024. It focuses on the history seen by a once condemned but now renovated cabin on Hagerstown, Maryland’s historically African-American Jonathan Street. But even more, it traces the history of the Hagerstown region from early days, through John Brown’s raid, Antietam, World War II industrial prominence through the economic and social challenges facing rust belt America. 3 Roads made a presentation to the Sunrise Rotary in Hagerstown in June, and showed three segments from the (very) rough cut of the documentary, as well as soundbites from Governor Wes Moore, the 42nd person to be interviewed for the documentary. To view the clips, click here:
